Stripe

Connecting your Stripe account to Kick allows for a more detailed record keeping of income data in Kick. Details like customer information and product information will be automatically recorded.

This level of detail not only allows for accurate and automatic recognition of income and merchant fees, it also provides a more granular perspective on your revenue.

For example, you can set up a Rule to automatically categorize a particular Product in Stripe to an income sub-category giving insights into your revenue across multiple offerings without the need for manually tracking.

Connecting Stripe

Connect your Stripe account using our direct integration. You’ll add your Stripe account the same way you’ll connect any new account.

How to Categorizes Income + Record Transfers

You can think of your Stripe account as just another financial account, similar to your checking accounts.

Payments received into Stripe from customers should be categorized as Income.

When funds are transferred from Stripe to your checking, both sides of the Transfer should be categorized as Transfer.

If the deposit into checking was categorized as Income, your income would be double counted between Stripe and your checking account.
